Teacher guide
Every lab follows the same routine, so students learn it once:
- Predict: students answer the first question before collecting data.
- Investigate: they choose conditions, step through the video, and measure with the ruler, timer, or point-marking tool.
- Analyze: the data table feeds a graph with linear, proportional, and quadratic fits, plus axis transforms (x², √x, 1/x, ln x) for linearizing.
- Explain: they answer the lab questions; multiple-choice items have a Check answer button, and the printed report shows a score.
- Practice: each lab links to a concept check (with a 3-lives challenge mode) and calculation problems that use new numbers every time.
Turning work in: students click Print / save report and save a PDF for Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology, etc. Work is stored only in the student's browser. Each device gets slightly different "measured" data, so copied numbers won't match. NGSS codes are suggested alignments to the closest performance expectation.
About answer keys: they're hidden until you click Show answer keys, but this site has no logins, so a determined student could find them. Treat them as convenient, not secret.
