← The Lab LabFrame

Real phenomena. Real measurements.

Step through each experiment frame by frame, measure with on-screen tools, collect your own data, and find the patterns yourself. Pick a lab to get started.

For teachers

How a lab works

  1. Students pick experimental conditions (the buttons under the video).
  2. They step through the video and measure with the ruler, timer, or point-marking tool.
  3. Data goes in a table, then onto a graph with linear, proportional, and quadratic fits — plus linearizing (x², √x, 1/x, ln x).
  4. They answer the questions and click Print / save report to turn in a PDF.
  5. Then they move on to Practice: a concept check and calculation problems with fresh numbers.

Good to know

  • Every student device gets slightly different "measured" data, so answers can't simply be copied.
  • Work saves automatically in the student's browser. Nothing is sent to a server; no accounts are needed.
  • Use Video Analysis with a phone video of your own demo to make a lab from real footage.
